what manufacture do you recommend for disc brake pad replacement

OEM brake pads are ceramic, and are made by Akebono.
You can find them online at Amazon, Rock Auto, etc.
IMHO, don't go to semi-metallic, or Euro-BMW type pads, all they manage to do is make your wheels filthy, fast.
