Guys - have heat and ac on passenger side vents but no heat on driver's side. Had the blower motor replaced recently but the mechanic said the resistor is OK. He also said the resistor controls fan speed only and could not cause the driver's side problem of no heat.

Is this true? Or can a bad resistor cause this no heat problem on the driver's side only?
