I hope I'm not intruding, but I have a question regarding a trans issue on an 08 Avalon. I think you Lexus guys are pretty tech savy, and I heard many toyota lexus issues are similiar. in my40 years of driving I never experienced this before, and never expected this from the flagship toyota. from a stop, on acceleration....just before the shift into 3rd gear, the RPM's will quickly increase at the time it should be dropping for shift in next gear. This does NOT happen all the time, so I expect having a problem at the dealership for an interminent problem. does anyone know what this could be ? no dash lights go on either which makes it more difficult.
