Default 98 ES 300 Audio Display Kaput

Hey Guys, Newbie here! I posted this over in the ES forum, but may get be more suited here.

My audio display has been out for years. Matter of fact it started fading out a few months after the warranty expired. Just my luck! [:@] Anyway, the dealer wanted $500 to replace it. I never dropped the coin because it still functions properly and I just memorized the button I needed to use. But now it's time for a new car and the bum display will hurt resale.

I know a mechanic who works for Lexus and he has offered to help me replace it if I can find a new/rebuilt unit. The dealer will not sell me one. Any advice on where I can find one?

Fixed! Got a part number ($85) and web site link for Pioneer on another forum. Heck, even got pics on how to remove the panels above and below the head unit.
