New Edition LFA Spied at Nurburgring
When the LFA was launched in 2009، Lexus announced that the production would be limited to 500 units, only building 20 a month until December of this year. Lexus never mentioned anything about new versions of the car, though, but there are some spy photos of a clearly upgraded version.
The Lexus has been spotted racing around the Nurburgring with some alterations, including an additional air intake on the hood, subtle bootlid spoilers, and quad exhaust tips just under the tail lights to make room for a diffuser integrated into the rear bumper.
The upgraded exhaust gives a clue that there is also an upgraded engine underneath the hood, which is suspected to have significantly more than the 552 hp 4.8L v-10 engine found in the regular LFA.
