Hey i have a 2001 GS 430 w/76k and my dash board lights are very dim , i have seen other GS'S and their dash lights are much brighter. Sometimes when i lower the dimmer switch and leave them on a dimmer setting, when i raise the dimmer switch the dash lights sometimes become slightly brighter any info to fix this problem would be great..

 

sounds like yer dashboard lites are beginning to show symptons of 'cantCnuttin' dislexia.. a ongoing problem afflictin nearly every lexus made from 90 to 03 or so...it may just need a illumination dimmer but thats wishful thinking... be preapared to buy a new Instrument Cluster when the lites fail .. or have it rebuilt
