RX400h rear wiper effectiveness issue (yes, I searched first)
Since I bought my 2008 RX400h two years ago the rear wiper has been annoyingly ineffective. Blade contact near the bottom five inches of blade (ie: the areas closest to the base of the windshield) is fine. Blade contact over the remainder of the blade length (ie: the upper portion of the blade and outward to the blade tip) makes little to no contact with the window, leaving dirt and washer fluid smeared at best. This area is of course directly in the main rearward field of vision.
Replacing the blade with a new one did not help. Replacing the entire wiper arm (with hopefully stronger spring tension) and yet another new blade also did not help.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 2nd gen RX models? If so, what solution (if any) were you able to find?
Any help appreciated and thanks in advance.
