Earlier this week I picked up a used 2010 450h and have been learning the car, little by little.

one thing that’s bothering me is the Average MPG setting. It was around 28 at the time I picked the car up, and until a couple of days ago when it dropped like a stone to 21.5, where it’s sat.

I did discover the Average MPG Since Fuel Up display, which is showing me 28.1 now after a short stint on the freeway. However the other one still says 21.5. :-( is there a way to reset that, or is it based upon the life of the vehicle, or st the very least a certain timeframe?

and the average speed setting says 22 mph, which clearly doesn’t reflect the highway driving I’ve been doing.

id love to be able to reset those two settings. Is there a way?

 

Answering my own question in case it helps someone down the road. :-)

When you're on the entry you want to reset hold the ENTER key until it resets. Simple as that.
