I have read quite a few threads on various sites relating to my RX 300 door lock problem but nothing like the trouble I am experiencing. Perhaps someone has experienced a similar problem.

My front passenger door lock no longer engages or disengages from the driver's door lock controller. However, it locks and unlocks while using the key on the passenger side.

The front driver's door, tail gate and both rear door locks work correctly when engaging the driver's door lock control.

I installed a replacement front passenger door lock assembly but the passenger door still does not lock or unlock from the driver's side.

My thought now is that the driver's door lock control is not functioning properly but I am perplexed as how it could be engaging the driver's door and rear doors correctly but not the passenger door.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem?
