Hi there! We are looking at adding a 3rd car for highway road trips. Excluding the purchase price differences and aesthetics, are there any significant reasons you would choose one over the other? There are several options in my area for both, and they all seem to have clear histories and complete dealer maintenance records for their whole lives.

We are handy and can do car repair on our own for the reasonable garage mechanic jobs. We've also owned lots of old cars before and are unafraid of age unless there's a huge known issue.
