Hi Everyone, New User here. My GF bought a beautiful 2001 LS430 about 2 years ago with just over 80K. We drove to Vegas last week and were on our way back when we heard a popping noise coming from under the hood on the passenger side of the motor and the engine was running rough. We had a loose plug in cylinder #6 and the hot gas and the vibrating plug enlarged the hole so much that the plug wouldn't tighten. We had the car transported home. I looked with a bore cam and there are threads there, but the new plug won't tighten. Basically, it is stripped. Has this happened to anyone else? Please let me know any suggestions you might have.
