Default Oil Change Please Help

Hello,
I recently purchase a new LS460 and love it. My first oil change was done free of charge at the dealer. At that time, I bought a filter so I could do the next one myself.
I found where the flap is and the filter. I tried putting a socket in the hole and the metal "plug" cam out. It looked as if I needed a filter wrench for the next part. I bought the right size and put it on. It is on so tight that I bent the filter wrench. Unbelievable. Yes... I took the little clip off. Please help, I am stuck!!!
Thanks in advance...
BTW, I saw a post on this once before with pictures but of course can not find it!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Nate

isn't the second oil and filter complinetary as well? I would call the nearest Lexus Dealership and find out. It was my understanding that the first 2 oil and filter are done complimentary.

What do you mean "stuck"? when you put the filter on, you need to coat the gasket on it w/ oil. Also, the filter does not need to put on tight, only hand tight. Too tight you will damage the threads
