Default back of alternator leaking antifreeze

I was prying the alternator back to get the top bolt in and all of a sudden it started leaking antifreeze from behind. What the heck are the metal tubes connected to the back? Are those carrying coolant?

Yes the alternator is cooled by antifreeze. Did you damage the alt housing or a coolant hose?
