hit a big sink hole or road was just built that way. did not loose control and car did not bottom out, but my speed gauge did go from 80mph to zero and hasn't worked since then. have read that the problem is a speed sensor.is that correct? any other ideas? if correct where would it be located?

rear brake caliper on driver side- can it be compressed with a c-clamp like on the passenger side?yeah it probably is stuck, just need a second opinion.
thanks for any help
