Lexus (GX 470) Toyota Promises unfulfilled
Curious..... We love our vehicles. We do research about the brand and vehicles before purchasing them, otherwise why belong to these forums?
Question: How do brand loyalist feel when automakers acknowledge issues publicly, promise to correct the situation, and then fail to follow through? Would you purchase another vehicle from the manufacturer, or steer clear?
Those of us who purchased Lexus/ Toyota products and live in the southern part of the US have issues with cracking dashboards. Lexus Toyota agreed publicly (television and print media)to replace these dashes at no cost to those of us affected.
In my case over a year has gone by since Lexus stated I was entitled to a new dash. I was told one would be in within three months. A year later nothing.
Attempts to trade the GX results in a deduction of well over a grand due to the cracked dash.
1. Any idea how to address this lingering issue
2. What would you replace my beloved GX with?
