Thank you in advance for your patience. I am new to this forum and this is my first post. My 2015 GS350 F has an intermittent issue with the passenger temp control .
It will go up to the warmest setting but when I try to bring it down to the coldest setting (AC on) it will not get to the coldest. I Removed the passenger footwell cover and I observed
a white gear moving as I adjusted the temp from max hot to max cold and it did move with the adjustments. if I leave the car off for a while the issue goes away.
1. is there a vacuum device or line that has anything to do with the passenger temp control (like the ole days)?
2. this issue happened about 6 months ago but now has returned; I sometimes leave car parked for up to a week
3 all other controls work fine, air location, drivers side temp etc, 85k miles on it
