I would like a set of the 5 spoke, 17 inch wheels that come on the GS/IS. ANyone have a set that they are willing to part with? Let me know.

your best bet may be to find some wheels that are a little scuffed up, and take them to a body shop and have them sanded and recleared.

 

A body shop can RE-CLEAR wheels? I never knew that. I have a set of 18's right now and clearcoat came off the lip. Are you saying that a body shop can fix that?

 

my dad works next door to a body shop. i saw a guy with custom wheels on a ford lightning that hit a curb hard enough to tear some clear coat off, and BREAK the rim. they fixed the crack, sanded it, and recleared it. i have seen it done.

 

i might sell my chome 17" in march.. Stock from my GS430
