Programming a spare keyless remote
Hi,
Anyone
I have recently purchased a used 2009 lexus ES350. It only came with one keyless remote. The dealer wants $275 for the remote and $75 to program it. I have purchased a second keyless remote (with matching FCC ID) and a Lexus/Toyota OBD keymaker/programmer (total $75). The OBD keymaker/Programmer is made in China or Taiwan (the only place that offers it) and unfortunately, due to grammatical errors and choice of wrong vocabulary all over, the English instruction provided with this part is confusing and very hard to follow.
Has anyone attempted (DIY) to program a second remote for a Lexus ES350?
If yes, sharing of your experience and instruction on how to will be greatly appreciated.
