Default price for '08 vs. '09 Nav ES350?

So my dad wants me to do the legwork on this purchase.
He's looking for the ES, Granite Mica/Black w/ Nav. He's not looking for the Marklevinson system,

Whats a good "out the door" price for the '08 and '09 for this?
BTW my dad isn't so concerned w/ resale value because he keeps his car until it dies and will pay cash for the sale.

Should he get the '08 or '09?

Thanks everyone...I appreciate your help....

Default RE: price for '08 vs. '09 Nav ES350?

Hey Disco ...
In my humble opinion he should buy the 2009 model because he would lose the years value if he bought the 2008. The prices are going to be about the same although the dealers do not have accurate figures yet. Yesterday a salesman told me there might be a $200 - $300 price increase ... maybe. The models have almost no differences so one might be able to haggle for a lower price on the 2008 model if the years depreciation loss is not a big deal. It is a big deal to me which is why I offered my opinion above. He will LOVE the car- it is a huge step up from 2006 models of the ES I have a 2007 model and think it is by far the best car I have ever owned.
