Default bluetooth question

I have an ES 350 and was wondering if more than one cell phone number can be linked into the bluetooth? I would like the system to recognize my wife's cell phone when she is using the car (which is presently the case), and recognize my cell phone when I am using the car. With my wife's phone currently linked, I can't get the car to recognize my phone when I am using it. Thanks for any help.

Default RE: bluetooth question

Hi,
I just bought 2002 Lexus ES300 so I am new. But here is what the bluetooth is?
You using you cars as headset, like the one everybody used on the ears. So in this case you could connect up to 10 devices to the car.
You problem is a bluetooth on the cellphone not related to the car. In bluetooth there is 3 conditions: on, off and visible. So if you set up you phone as visible then the car could not recognize it. Try you phone to find the car but only when you wife phone is off. One device by the time. Try to find little bit about the car bluetooth.
I hope ive been helpfull.Martin
