2016 Software update to 2017

2016 Software update to 2017
I have the opportunity to either buy a 2016 ES or lease a 2017 ES. I believe the only difference is the pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, high-speed dynamic radar cruise control. Is it possible to update a 2016 with this option? Thanks
