Passenger mirror wiring
Greetings!
A deer removed my passenger mirror so I bought a used OEM replacement, I believe it came off a 2010, I have a 2012. It was perfect in every way except for the wiring plug on the end. The mirror I lost plugged into a Denso Outer Mirror Controller that had a set or pins that were two rows horizontally, the one I received plugs into a harness that is attached to the inside door panel and has two 4 pin grids and no way fits the controller.
The mirror I lost was sheared off and just the wires were left sticking out, tracing those wires went directly to the controller, not the harness that all the videos showed you plugged/unplugged from. Did I get the wrong mirror or is there an adapter to go from the mirror pigtail to the mirror controller?
I will add that when looking at new Lexus replacement mirrors a base model mirror was like $280 but if car is equipped with luxury pkg, mine is, that mirror was over $500, is that the mirror I need to plug in to the controller?
Appreciate all responses,
Chet

Update: Due to the luxury package that added additional functionality to the mirror I needed the go to a dealer for a $530 direct replacement mirror with proper paint code. Lexus of Cleveland had the best price and shipping, additionally, I sent the parts guy a picture of my pigtail and he confirmed fit before shipping, big thumbs up to Lexus of Cleveland and I'm in NH.
