Folks, just picked up a 2009 IS 250. In the owners manual they mention that we can customize certain features. For example, turning on/off interior lights to our liking, turing off/on the seatbelt reminder etc.. They mention in the owners manual, that "special programming equipt" is required and can only be performed by a lexus dealer.! Is this the case or can we cutomize our vehicle on our own ? THe owners manual does NOT tell us how to do this.! So do we need to have the dealer do it, or is there a guide that tells us how to change the features ?

you will have to bring it in to the Dealer the should do it for free if the car is brand new
