I have a 06 IS 250 and front pads is making a lot of dust, i heard they are changing the pads at the dealership like a recall. I called Magnussen in fremont and they told me they will change it but there
would be a lot of squiking but less brake dust. Is this true on all 06 IS? Need opinion. Thanks....

 

There soon will be 2 options for brake pads for the IS250.

High Mu pads Less dust, more noise when cold.
Mid Mu pads More dust, quieter operation
