I have a 1994 Lexus Sc-300.My tail lights use to work before i installed the new ones. When i was installing the tail lights, i made an mistake and installed the wrong bulbs. After i realized what i did, I went and bought the right bulbs and quickly installed them. Now, my tail lights work on neither side.I had all of the fuses checked by a mechanic and they said all the fuses were good.
What could possibly be wrong?

 

You have to pull back the trunk carpet (remove the little lastic plugs/clips and pull it back) then remove the entire taillight to change the bulbs. The taillight is held in by nuts so you'll need a wrench/socket to get them off. Change ALL the bulbs while you're in there because you won't want to go through this procedure again in a couple of days/weeks should another bulb fail.
