Is it possible that my 2006 GX470 with towing package already has an OEM brake controller installed for towing?

 

No, it's not possible. I had watched a couple youtube videos and the connector for the brake controller was shown on the left side of the steering column. Etrailers help reply said it's on the right of the column and so it was. Bought the controller from them!
