F/S: 98 GS400 102K miles $6K o.b.o.

Sorry it's my first post, just trying to get the word out. Thanks

I bought my 98 Gs400 about 4 years ago with 63,000 miles on it. I usually change up cars often but this has been the only car I've ever owned for this long. It's a very nice driving car it's quiet, fast, and looks great.

The car now has a little over 102,000 miles on it now and the starter is slowly going out on it. I took it to Lexus (where I've had serviced) and they quoted me $1000 to replace the starter. With that I'm offering the car as a mechanic's special. I've even bought a new starter for it that goes with the sale.

Here is the other thing, before I bought the car it was involved in an accident to the front passenger side and repaired by a professional shop. The workmanship on the repair is very good. All of the panels to the car are original except the front passenger fender and hood (meaning all original panels have the VIN printed on them confirming they belong on the car). Due to the accident the vehicle has a salvaged title. Please do not let that discourage you; this is a VERY luxurious low mileage (10K per year) car at a great price. A clean title 98 GS like this blue book around $11,000 so that's almost half off of blue book for a great luxurious sports sedan (besides you'd have a hard time finding any decent 102K car for this price!)

The car has usual wear for a ten year old car so please expect it to be perfect. I replace the battery about 2 months ago because I thought that was the problem with it starting. In the 4 years I've had it, I've had the following replace: Ball joints, front bearings, struts, and all brakes and rotors (cross drilled and slotted). I replaced the stock wheels with custom staggered 18" wheels. This car loves the freeway as on most freeway trips I've taken with it I got 26 MPG. It's gets about 19 around town if you don't put your foot in it (like anything else). This is a great car for a great price. $6,000 o.b.o.
