Requirement of Annual General Meeting
Every company is required to hold an annual general meeting in each calendar year. Notice calling meeting shall specify meeting as AGM.
Time limit for holding Annual General Meeting (For First AGM)
Company may hold first AGM within a period of eighteen months from the date of its incorporation. If first meeting is held within eighteen months than there is no requirement for company to held AGM in the year of its incorporation or in following year. And first AGM shall also be held within the period of nine month from the end of the period for which its first Profit & Loss Account is prepared. Read More....
