Default Paintwork

I have enjoyed ownership of my GS300 Sport since January 2000. Two years ago I had the bonnet resprayed by my local dealer Ryburn in Cardiff, as there were some serious stone chips that needed attention. I have now noticed that the lacquer finish is peeling off in two places on the bonnet about the size of a 50p piece.
Has anyone any similar experience?
Can you explain why it has occurred?
How did you sort it?
I have been in touch with the dealer and they don't want to know!!
