I have 2000 lexus es300 with 213000 miles. Check eng and trac off came on code P1354 which identified bank 2 Oil control valve(OCV) or variable valve timing solenoid. I pulled out the OCV. there was continuity and the solenoid kicks. Cleansed really good then put it back.Reset the check engine.Road rest for 2miles check eng and trac off again came on. Dont't know what to do next. I saw in you tube about a guy who has the same problem, and same findings solenoid kicks when tested but bought a new OCV and corrected the issue.I did the same thing he did and Voila, corrected the problem.
