my 1992 sc400 supension sounds louder in the winter time

my sc400 has 20's on it, i notice in the winter time my suspension seems louder when i hit bumps. i get a rattling sound from the front end, i changed my sway bar bushings and links last year and the suspension seem to calm down a little but i still got a little bit of noise. in the winter time i notice the suspension gets even stiffer and i get more suspension noise when i hit bumps. could it be my control arm bushings going bad or have gone bad or is it my sway bar links have gone bad due to the rims , which i know is extra weight. the links were after market and i heard the dealer links, the ends are tight and do not realy move, but my aftermarket ones moved a little bit, but the question is whats causing the rattling noise if i changed the links and bushings and would my control arm bushings begoing bad and how can ibe d sure its the control arm bushings? And would changing the control arm bushing definitely improvethe ride even with the 20's? Does anyone have 20's with the same problem?my ball joints are good, i checked them they are tight, the only thing i can think of is the control arm bushings or maybe the brake shims,im stumped any advice any one please!!!

I'd check your control arm bushings. Mine wore out by 90K and began making front end noises (more audible in cold temps).
