Lexus Sc300: Good first car?
 

I'm 17, looking for a first car. I can probably spend anywhere up to $6000 (possibly a bit more) and basically what i'm looking for is:

Good acceleration, quick, fast. basically a sedan or two door that's really fun to drive. Maybe a stick shift? Also, i want RWD or AWD. I hear FWD is just terrible and want to avoid it. My parents own a lexus SUV which i hate, a ford pickup which i hate even more, and a 2000 BMW sedan which is pretty sick.

I'm not a super car mechanic or anything, i know very little about them and just looking for something that isn't a complete bitch to repair, minor stuff here and there is fine, i'd love to learn about the car and take care of it but yeah. It would be mostly stock or whatever comes with when i buy it, don't know anything about modding cars or w/e.

I would be buying a USED car, probably off craigslist. Probably something in the 1990-2007 range, i don't like the looks of the really old cars in general.

Well anyway some of my first choices were
- Honda Prelude: i was told it's also kinda slow, should be quicker for a car that size?
- BMW: But they simply cost too much to maintain, i guess. Parts are rare
- Lexus Sc300: At the highest of my interest right now, don't know much.
- Acura TL, RSX?
- Some kind of nissan?
