I need to have the power steering pump& hoses changed. Do you know how much is fair price to pay for this? Firestone asked me to pay 1700$.
ANd how much cost timing belt replacing? When there water pump too i think.
If anyone has had these problems or knows smth about these problems I would appreciate the help.

 

I just change my timing belt and water pump. The price I pay for that is $677.71

 

$1700 sounds a little steep for a steering repair. The vane pumps are rebuildable, if they are not scored intenally. The hoses are pricey, but not that much.

T-belt price range $600-$800 with a water pump is a good ballpark figure. It is a good idea to replace the water pump when doing the belt,if your mileage is getting high.
