The lighter socket on my daughters 1995 SC400 doesn't work. I checked the owners manual and the fuse for the cig lighter is also used for the instrument panel lights, SRS airbag and some other things that are working fine so I figure it can't be the fuse. I checked the socket with a meter and it doesn't have the 12VDC that it should so I am at a loss. any ideas?

 

pull it out and make sure there isnt a wiring problem or unplugged.

 

Just check the fuses it wont hurt.
