New to me RX questions
 

So I just bought a 2004 RX 330 FWD with the intent of gifting it to an older friend of the families. It has 221K miles but it runs good and was inspected by a mechanic. New brakes, battery and tires but now a few things have "popped up" and am looking for some insight. I was on this forum for many years with my ES and 2 GS cars. These issues: Check Engine light with a VSC "light"
Flashing AC light on the CLIMATE "PAGE" on the multi function screen. The AC was cold and then I noticed it getting warm. I selected the CLIMATE page and thats where I saw the flashing AC. I tapped it twice and it went OFF steady, then ON steady. AC was great after (but only drove another 10 minutes.

Any thoughts on the VSC and is it only dealer fixable? And what about the AC issue? Didn't find anything in the owners manual about it.
