My first question ever!!! Remote start shuts off when door opens!!!?
 

I just bought a 2010 Lexus RX450h and have been doing a few upgrades to it like having remote start installed. I usually have remote start as an option and when I get in one of those cars when it is running I just have to put the key in the ignition and it stays running. This car turns off as soon as I open the door:eek:

My very first question I am asking on the Lexus forum is if anyone has or knows how to override or bypass the door sensor? I would not mind if it was hooked it up to the push button start or just having the key in the proximity of the car to keep it running?

I don't want to have to start the car again after I already started it once!!!:D

Is this the one you have? I have this one (bought online, installed at Best Buy) and it works great -- don't have an issue with the door.
