My 1997 LS400 was totalled last week by a dump truck in a rear end accident. I bought a Cert. Pre-Owned 2003 LS430 the next day.I've noticed the driver's side mirror pivots out slightly each time the ignition switch is turned on. This is with the auto stow feature turned off. If I repeatedly turn the ignition on, then off, the on etc.., after about 4 times, the mirror pivots way around to the outside and stops at some limit. The only way to reset it is to stow the mirror to the inside as normal and then return it to the normal driving position. I first noticed that my nirror wasn't staying adjusted properly but then figured out that the whole assembly was pivoting out. Any ideas on a cause? Thanks for any help that can be provided.
