LS400 traction

I would like to know how a LS400 handles in snow.

It handles fine, obviously it depends on the kind of snow and tire. BUT BUT BUT be careful where you park it in any kind of heavy snow fall or ice. What you don't know about your Lexus and will scare the hell out of you, is the sensor in the tire to help the traction control can be faulted it if gets ice inside. it will make your car think that it is slipping and jolt you. I went a 150 miles thinkin my transmission was slipping. finally got to my destination. tried not to think about it. parked in the garage overnight and by morning it was find. i was told the ice melts and everything is fine. but that doesnt make when its happening any easier.

First, the traction control as implemented on the early LS series is worse than useless. I have found myself remembering to turn it off each and every time I start the car. My 92 will soon be at 100k miles.

Thanks,
