Default Lexus ls 430 2002 needs new motor

Hello everyone,
I am really broken up about this one. Do I replace the motor or trash the car. Apparently I had a small oil leak that I only found out about a month and suddenly I had a break down on the highway. Car ran hot, shut down and now the heads are blown. Estimated a motor at $2800.00, 99,000 miles. What should I do?

It is a lot however the alternative is what? Purchase a newer car? I would have to have the person estimating the work also take an hour and examine the rest of the car to see what else may be worn or close to requiring replacement to see what the actual cost to own / operate the vehicle may be for the next couple of years. Also, does that $2800 include the labor?

I have a 2003 and they are great cars....tough to let go.

Good luck - C
