99 ls 400 steering column tilt motor
 

After market tilt motorneeded for 99 LS 400 steering column. Is it difficult to replace? Every dealer I contacted wanted $500 or more for motor. Hard to find part. Part # 4581050030 OEM. With seat all the way down it is difficult to get in because steering wheel is in the down position and will not come up. Is there a method to movestering wheelback up without taking steeringcolumn completely apart? It is difficult to steer vehicle, legs get in the way. Lexus dealer wants 1000 to 1400 to replace. I find this to be excessive.
