1993 ls 400
I currently have a 1993 Lexus LS400--that I am experiencing some problems with. When I try to accelerate in the morning time after stopping at a red light-my car seems to want to hesitate as if it isnt breathing right or a loss of power--and at times it seems to want to die. This is more common in the morning time when I first get in the car or after my car has been sitting for a while--do I need to let the car warm up longer because of the age? I was going to get the trottle body cleaned and possibly a tune-up but I wanted to post a thread first to see what you guys think I should do. After the vehicle warms it seems to work fine--but I can tell I have a lot of loss power whithin its performance. I was also wanting to ask about changing the fluid in the transmission (without flushing)--is this a good idea--got a recommendation after getting a oil change to get fluids changed in transmission because it was dirty. What do you guys think--please send me whatever suggestions-and what I can do first before spending my money-thanks and I will be waiting. Goodbye.:):):)
