Extension mirrors (towing) for 2007 GX470
 

Hello and thank you for this forum. I have searched high and low for a replacement for the existing side mirrors. I did find a source for direct replacement only for the LX470. That replacement did have the ability to manually extend the mirrors for towing situations but the company insisted they would not be suitable for the GX470. At the time I did check and it appeared that the mirrors differed between the 2 models.

Anyone have suggestions? I have tried several add ons, with some better than others. I must say that the GX470 has done well in towing our 4200 pound, 20' trailer, including to parts of the High Sierra's here in California.
