Transmission acting dead!
My daughter’s car a, 2000 Lexus ES300, with U140E model transmission started acting up and unable to speed above 40 mph with a slight fast rattling sound from transmission. She drove it home and I read the engine faults and they were Solenoid E and Solenoid D. I was going to take it to a shop but after a couple of blocks it stopped not moving in any direction at all, reverse or forward. It does not feel that the gears engage at all. The transmission fluid level is proper. What has gone wrong? Helpful comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
