Shopping for an ES 300 or 330
 

I am currently shopping for a 200x ES 300 or ES330. Can anyone share any maintenance issues or reliability concerns that I should be aware of before I make the leap. For example, I recently bought a BMW 323i that was in great shape only to have the tranny go out at 105K. Then I found out that transmission failure in the E46 is a common problem and usually costs about $3K to fix if you don't buy a new tranny for $6K.

Should of checked the Bimmer forums first.

So now I'm checking the Lexus forum. Live and Learn!

Did you get the answers you were looking for in order to pick up your ES200*???? Let me know what price range and miles you are looking for and I'll find out if there are any problems with that era.........
