Where is the oil filter located on an 2000 ES300? And what oil filter do yo use for synthetic oil?

Thanks!

you use the same filter no matter what oil you use..

what engine do you have? 3.0? i havent worked on a lexus for a while, but i think that the toyota copr V6s have them on the drivers side rear of the block? i know that most of the toyota 4 cylidners are right on the front of the block...right behind the exhaust manifold.

I use Camry 6 cylinder filter for beter price. They are the same. Go to toyota dealer, the sales guy at the counter will know what you need.
