Low Oil Pressure warning 2002 es 300
 

I have a 2002 ES 300, today the low oil pressure warning light came on. everything sounds normal no tapping / overheating. I changed the oil and filter in case something clogged it,but it is still on. I know as an engine wears the pressure will drop as the worn areas allow more oil to pass. What next, I am concerned about damaging the engine.

Hi everyone,

I just changed my oil and now when I start the engine, I get the low oil pressure indicator and oil light. Once I drive the car, it goes away.

Also, I have a burnt out bulb in my temp control in the dash. How do I replace the bulb?

Double gasket on the oil filter. A valve cover will not "shoot" oil do to lack of oil pressure under the cover. If you just had the oil changed its most likely to problem.
