Default leaking when raining

I have a 2005 ES 330 with just over 50,000 miles. Recently, it started leaking rain water whenever it rains, even sprinkles. The rain water collects on the passenger side floor and right rear seat floor only, no where else. I can extract quarts of water when it rains hard. There is absilutely no evidence of rain on any other part of the interior, only the flat floor as described. I have soaked up quarts of water with a shamwow and a wet vac but it keeps copming back every time it rains. Maddening. Has anyone had that trouble?

Check the drain tube for the A/C evaporator. If you normally only use the A/C when it's raining, the moisture that has been removed from the air has nowhere to go when the tube is plugged. When sitting in the passenger seat, the tube is approx. by your left foot. If that isn't it, try pouring water by the passenger wiper and see if the water is leaking in from there. This might point to something screwy in the windshield cowl.

Thanks, outbid81. That was the problem. The drain tube got stuffed back into the drain hole and was draining into the car rather than on the ground. Well, at least the water was very clean so no unpleasant odor ensued. Problem solved!
