ES 350 and ES 300h
Lexus is expanding its product range with a new ES 300 luxury hybrid sedan and a 2013 ES 350 luxury sedan. Today, Lexus announced the MSRP for both model, which are expected to arrive at dealerships in August. The ES 350 will start at $36,100, which is almost a 2-percent decrease from the last generation’s model, and the 2013 Lexus ES 300h will start at $38,850.
The ES 300h will house a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine and is expected to earn 40 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. The Atkinson cycle engine will produce 200 total horsepower. On the other hand, the ES 350 will sport a 3.5-liter V6 with dual VVT-i that produces 268 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 248 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,700 rpm. The ES 350 has a 6-speed ECT-i to improve fuel efficiency and driving performance. The ES 350 is also host to low friction materials that further improve fuel economy, which is estimated at 21 mpg in the city, 31 on the highway and 24 combined.
