CD Changer Problem

Default CD Changer Problem

Hello I have a 1992 Lexus ES 300, awesome car. I have the nakamichi system in it, with the 6 cd changer in the trunk. Now these last couple of days they cd changer isnt opening, i pressed the OPEN button many times, and nothing happens. Please if anyone knows how i cant fix this problem, please let me know.

does it still function? and just not open? i would think the switch is going bad

yes, it had been until yesterday, and also today i saw on the consol in the front that the CD button didnt light up when my headlights were on, do you think there is a connections between these two? Thanks

perhaps the opening switch just went bad?

I would check to make sure that the din plug in the back is plugged in entirely if so then check to see if there are any other wires in the back hooked up and email me back...

I have the same problem. I just got the car and the eject button on the changer lights up but it does not open.
