ABS computer
 

I have a '97 ES 300. The ABS light is blinking as well as the Trac light being on. Dealer says ABS computer shot and wants $1800 to replace. Car is too old to put that much money into it. I see several of these parts for sale on ebay. Is this something I can replace myself? I am pretty handy and have several MG's that I have restored over the years but I know nothing of ABS or how they work. Any help would be appreciated. Where is it located anyway?
